The quilting project began over twenty years ago as a way to make an impact in our community. We make both adult and crib size quilts which are given to various local agencies. During the year we may make and give away close to two hundred quilts. Quilts are also sent to Lutheran World Relief to be used in countries all over the world. The group meets each Thursday evening from 6:30-8:30 pm in the church fellowship hall every month except December which is when we take a break. More assistance is always welcome. One does not have to have sewing skills as we also need people to cut fabric, sort fabric, tie quilts, lay out quilt tops, etc. If you cannot join us at this time, but can work on this project at home, please let us know. Currently several church members cut squares or sew tops together at home. Others donate fabric for us to use.
